Welcome to Gina Wiseman Photography!  Gina Wiseman Photography is a Senior Photographer in Shelbyville and serves the surrounding areas of Batesville, Columbus, Edinburgh, Franklin, Greensburg and Rushville, Indiana.


Do you have a senior guy session coming up and have no idea how to plan for it?  Well, I have you covered!  I know, for guys is always hard to plan for their senior session and depend on mom to help. What to wear, should I iron my clothes, what props to bring, etc.  All the questions are answered below!  Check it out!

What to Wear:

*Dress for your style! Show your personality!  

*Use accessories such as hats, jackets etc.

      to create layers

    
*Wear what you are comfortable in, you will be moving around!


*Wear Fitted clothes, nothing baggy, flowy or too tight


*Wear Soft, Neutral, Muted Colors.  Avoid bold patterns and colors.  Solid colors are great!


*Bring a White or Black solid shirt (as a backup)


*Bring one stand-out outfit, your favorite


*Dress for weather


*Iron wrinkles- this is huge!  Bring any extra outfits on hangers to prevent wrinkles


*Don't be adventures!  Don't try something new on photo session day


*Most importantly - Have Fun!


Hair

*Schedule hair appointment for a cut about a week before session, this is not the time to try something new, so stay with your normal hairstyle. 
 
*Arrive to your session clean shaven, unless you normally have a beard or mustache then have trimmed.

Props:

*Props are a great way to personalize your senior session.  Cars, Pets, favorite Sport items are great ideas!  Make sure the props are planned out and ready to go when session time.  Make sure your car is clean!








Week Before:


*Avoid tan lines!  If you are going to tan (tanning bed or sun) please do so at least 3 days before you session date


*Think about props you may want to bring, things that have special meaning are great to incorporate into your session


*Determine Clothing for your session


*Try on your outfit(s) to make sure all fit


*Determine if you want to use accessories


The Day Before:

 
*Lay out your clothes, including any accessories, shoes, under garments (make sure does not show thru outfit)


*Make sure to Iron all clothing and make sure free of stray threads


The Day Of:


*Drink plenty of water!


*Bring a snack in case you get hungry


*Get plenty of rest!


*Bring your amazing personality to session, relax and have fun!


*Arrive with first outfit on to first location chosen

Class of 2024, Senior Photography, Batesville Indiana    William Henry Harrison High School  | Harrison Ohio Senior Photographer  Today I want to share Lindsey's Senior Photo Session.  She will graduate this spring from William Henry Harrison High School.   Since I live about 1 hour from Harrison Ohio, we decided to meet up at Ertel Cellars Winery in Batesville Indiana.  Lindsey was looking for a  country setting that had a barn, farm feel and flowers.  The session took place in September, so we were lucky to find few fall colors as well as a small field of yellow flowers.   The first location on Ertel's Winery property was an old barn.  Wow! An old, rugged barn was the perfect backdrop for Lindsey and her first outfit selection.  So far, we have checked off 1 of Lindsey's dream locations.     On to the next location...beside the barn was another old, rugged building.  Could not have been more perfect as this building was beside the country road that had the most gorgeous v

Senior Pictures Photo Session in Franklin Indiana | Alyssa

 Class of 2023, Senior Photography, Shelbyville Indiana Photographer High School Senior Portraits Whew!  I'm getting so emotional as I write blogs for my Senior 2023 Reps.  This year has flown by, I can't imagine how the girls and parents are feeling!  This year I had the pleasure of having 6 seniors on my team, 5 from Shelbyville Indiana and 1 from Batesville Indiana.  All will be graduating in the next week or two.  I am honored to have photographed their Senior year in high school.   Today I want to share Alyssa's Senior Picture gallery, some of my favorites!  Alyssa will be a 2023 Graduate of Shelbyville Indiana High School.  For her main senior photos, she chose different locations in Franklin Indiana.  We started at Indiana Masonic Home/Compass Park area, what a gorgeous location!  Alyssa rocked all the photo spots, a true model for sure!  Our next location was a field that was perfect for sun in background photos.  I had so many favorites from this location.  Next, w

Home Birth Photography | Shelbyville Birth Photographer

Baby Photography, Birth Photography, Newborn Photography, Shelbyville Indiana Wow is all I can say! Photographing Miss Josienne's home birth was amazing, emotional and rewarding. My first time photographing a home birth, I wasn't sure what to expect but it was an experience I will never forget. Mom was simply amazing, her strength was more than I could handle, I may have cried for her. She handled this birth better than I ever could or would have...as I needed all the drugs for pain in my deliveries. Not only did she have amazing support from her  awesome husband and daughter, but her Midwife  http://www.divinebirthmidwifery.com/ and Doula http://www.indybirthservices.com/  was there providing all the support and care mom and baby needed.
