Couple weeks ago and friend and I decided to take a day and photograph, our first stop was at The Story Inn in Nashville Indiana ....I had never heard of this place so I was very excited to visit.  Cindy had told me of the Story Inn that is supposedly haunted.....well anyone that I love scary movies and this was right up my alley!  We walked around this Inn, it was beautiful inside and out....of course I took photo's...we never saw anything strange....but we never went into any of the rooms....so I may have to return and stay a night and see.... :)  I found this article talking about the haunted inn, this may give you a little insight .... www.hauntedrooms.com/product/the-story-inn-nashville-indiana Let me know if anyone stays there!  Enjoy my photos!

Where do I start....This family was amazing during their family photo session!  We met up at a local park, Sunset Park, in our hometown of Shelbyville Indiana.  The afternoon was very warm and we dealt with few bugs flying around....but overall the photo session was success...they LOVED their photos and will be hanging them in their new house in California!  Here are just a few of my favorites, Enjoy!

Feed My Starving Children|FMSC|Shelbyville First Church of the Nazarene

Image
Every year my Church, Shelbyville First Church of the Nazarene, travels up to  Aurora, Illinois to help pack food for Feed My Starving Children (FMSC).  Not heard of FMSC?  FMSC is a Christian non-profit organization who helps feed starving children in many countries.  We had 6-8 people at each table each had their own jobs.  We filled bags with Vitamins, Veggies, Soy and Rice, someone would weigh each bag making sure enough food was in each bag, then the bags were sealed and packed in boxes.  We packed food for Haiti and Nicaragua, after each session we would pray over the boxes of food to arrive safely to their destination.  I cannot explain how amazing this experience was, knowing we were helping starving children made us all feel great.  This year we packed 294,840 bags of food!!  We even broke the record for the session day 2!  Can't wait until next year! Few pictures....

Madison Indiana|Photography|Bubble Man

While visiting Madison Indiana few weeks ago I came across this guy with 2 wands in his hands...I wasn't sure what he was doing so I watched for a few minutes.....WOW!  He created the most beautiful and biggest bubbles I had ever seen!  I should have walked down to the river where he was standing and asked his name, but I was so engulfed in watching the bubbles I didn't.  So, I'm calling him the Bubble Man, if anyone happens to know this guy please share this post with him.  I'm planning on going back in few weeks, maybe he will be there!  If you want to continue to follow my blog, key in your email to the rght...or leave a comment!  Share with anyone you think would like this! Thanks and enjoy! -Gina ,

I was on vacation last week in Waukesha Wisconsin, every time I'm there I always make time to visit my favorite camera store, Art's Camera Plus.  Well this time was no different, I stopped by and they were having a EXPO SALE!  Yes!  I had been thinking about my next lens purchase...couldn't decide on either the 35mm or 85mm.  Well, they happened to have a 85mm 1.8 on sale/pre-owned.  I purchased the lens and went straight to taking photo's.  Hailey happened to be available to model for me....we met in a local park in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin. It was a very warm afternoon, sweat was pouring off us.....but I was able to get great photos from the new lens!  Hailey was the perfect model and the camera/lens loved her!  Let me know what you think! -Gina
