Shelbyville Indiana Family Photographer - Perkins Family

I knew from the first email this family was going to be fun!!  I was right!!  We met up on January 1st, my first session of the year...Happy New Year to me!  What should have been a cold blustery day in January turned out to be a sunny and somewhat warm day (for January anyway), we met up at a local park in Shelbyville Indiana.  This was my first time meeting the Perkins family and what a great family they are.  They were willing to try any ideas I had, even with grandpa and grandkids on the swings...I have to say I kinda felt like I had been adopted by this family...I always smile when I receive an email from Ray...makes my day.  Im posting a few of their favorites...including the photo they chose as their family photo...on the monkey bars!  Told you they were fun!! Thank You Perkins family for trusting me with your family portraits!  Enjoy!

Senior Pictures Photo Session in Franklin Indiana | Alyssa

 Class of 2023, Senior Photography, Shelbyville Indiana Photographer High School Senior Portraits Whew!  I'm getting so emotional as I write blogs for my Senior 2023 Reps.  This year has flown by, I can't imagine how the girls and parents are feeling!  This year I had the pleasure of having 6 seniors on my team, 5 from Shelbyville Indiana and 1 from Batesville Indiana.  All will be graduating in the next week or two.  I am honored to have photographed their Senior year in high school.   Today I want to share Alyssa's Senior Picture gallery, some of my favorites!  Alyssa will be a 2023 Graduate of Shelbyville Indiana High School.  For her main senior photos, she chose different locations in Franklin Indiana.  We started at Indiana Masonic Home/Compass Park area, what a gorgeous location!  Alyssa rocked all the photo spots, a true model for sure!  Our next location was a field that was perfect for sun in background photos.  I had so many favorites from this location.  Next, w

Home Birth Photography | Shelbyville Birth Photographer

Baby Photography, Birth Photography, Newborn Photography, Shelbyville Indiana Wow is all I can say! Photographing Miss Josienne's home birth was amazing, emotional and rewarding. My first time photographing a home birth, I wasn't sure what to expect but it was an experience I will never forget. Mom was simply amazing, her strength was more than I could handle, I may have cried for her. She handled this birth better than I ever could or would have...as I needed all the drugs for pain in my deliveries. Not only did she have amazing support from her  awesome husband and daughter, but her Midwife  http://www.divinebirthmidwifery.com/ and Doula http://www.indybirthservices.com/  was there providing all the support and care mom and baby needed.
