Baby Photography, Children Photography, Family Photography, Shelbyville Studio - Archer Milestone baby sessions are so much fun to photograph.  Capturing all the newness and changes of your baby is a great way to remember your little one as they get older.   The session Im blogging about today is of Archer and his 4 month session.  I try to start my milestone sessions at 4 months and are photographed in my all white studio in Shelbyville Indiana.  Baby has started to smile, they begin the adorable babbling ( I love these noises, I feel the baby is telling me a story), reaches for their toes, most can hold head up when on tummy time, these are just a few of the many changes they have gone through.  I think the most important  milestone is recognizing mom, she always brings a smile to her baby.  My baby sessions are baby led, I do not pose baby, I let them do what they do, be adorable.  At 4 months baby doesn't really sit up (if baby is strong I will try a Bumbo seat) so m

Baby Photography, Child Photography, Family Photography, Shelbyville Studio Celebrating a 1 Year Birthday is hard work!  You have to pose for fun photos, open big boxed presents and eat CAKE!  All on a beautiful location, which happens to be part of your home.   Jayden turned one back in November, I had the pleasure of capturing all these great moments.  We had the perfect location, a place where he will grow up and enjoy the woods and pond, his home.   The Fall colors where at their peek and the setting sun provided the perfect lighting.   For my 1 year birthday/Cake Smash I like to start with birthday photos either in moms favorite outfit or in a basic white onesie.  I want to capture all the changes and growing up that has happened in the last year.  Jayden had fun crawling around and playing in the falling leaves and watching every step mom took!  LOL!  For the Cake Smash baby can be in a coordinating outfit that matches the cake or be simple and in just a diaper, wh

Baby Photography, Child Photography, Family Photography, Shelbyville Studio  6 month milestone is a great time to celebrate a baby's life.  By this time they know familiar faces, likes to play, likes to look at self in the mirror, responds to sounds, knows their name, brings things to their mouths ( like Miss Suzi, she loved her toes!  Her gallery photos are below).  These are just a few things that make a 6 month milestone session a fun time!  It's actually my favorite time to photograph baby, you get all the goodness and no crawling away!  I like to start out with baby in a white onesie, this way I can capture the baby without any distractions from clothes, making baby the main focus.  I do suggest mom to bring a favorite well fitting outfit for the end of session so we can get those cute mom photos! :)  This week Im featuring Miss Suzi's gallery from her recent milestone session.  She was such a trooper, never cried, gave me big smiles and also her serious/c
