6 Months Photo Session | Shelbyville Indiana Baby Photographer




 Today we return to Miss Charlotte's baby adventure.  I have blogged about her Fresh 48 session, Newborn session and now 6 months milestone session.

I love photographing babies at 6 months, capturing their little personalities and all the new things they are starting to do.  Their smiles are the best. I always know when mom or dad is behind me, that is always the best smile!  Charlotte was no different and she was the perfect model!

I like to start my 6 month photo sessions with baby in a onesie (either in white or favorite color) on the air mattress I have in my white studio.  I capture baby sitting up with a bunch of pillows to support baby, laying down playing with their feet, tummy time and I try to get few sibling photos.  Next we move baby to baby bed.  This is my favorite prop to use!  In the baby bed they roll, play in a safe area and I capture all the goodness.  Sometimes I capture parents and siblings playing with baby, these moments are really the best photos.  Then (depending on baby) we move to a rocking chair or a high chair.  This is where baby is changed into the favorite outfit mom brings.  All the smiles come out, now they can see mom and dad (and siblings) and the fun begins. While baby is in any of these nursery props, baby is always kept safe, never put in a unsafe position.

Senior Pictures Photo Session in Franklin Indiana | Alyssa

 Class of 2023, Senior Photography, Shelbyville Indiana Photographer High School Senior Portraits Whew!  I'm getting so emotional as I write blogs for my Senior 2023 Reps.  This year has flown by, I can't imagine how the girls and parents are feeling!  This year I had the pleasure of having 6 seniors on my team, 5 from Shelbyville Indiana and 1 from Batesville Indiana.  All will be graduating in the next week or two.  I am honored to have photographed their Senior year in high school.   Today I want to share Alyssa's Senior Picture gallery, some of my favorites!  Alyssa will be a 2023 Graduate of Shelbyville Indiana High School.  For her main senior photos, she chose different locations in Franklin Indiana.  We started at Indiana Masonic Home/Compass Park area, what a gorgeous location!  Alyssa rocked all the photo spots, a true model for sure!  Our next location was a field that was perfect for sun in background photos.  I had so many favorites from this location.  Next, w

Home Birth Photography | Shelbyville Birth Photographer

Baby Photography, Birth Photography, Newborn Photography, Shelbyville Indiana Wow is all I can say! Photographing Miss Josienne's home birth was amazing, emotional and rewarding. My first time photographing a home birth, I wasn't sure what to expect but it was an experience I will never forget. Mom was simply amazing, her strength was more than I could handle, I may have cried for her. She handled this birth better than I ever could or would have...as I needed all the drugs for pain in my deliveries. Not only did she have amazing support from her  awesome husband and daughter, but her Midwife  http://www.divinebirthmidwifery.com/ and Doula http://www.indybirthservices.com/  was there providing all the support and care mom and baby needed.
