Baby Photography, Child Photography, Family Photography, Shelbyville Indiana Wow!  I can't believe Miss Suzy is 1 year old!  I have had the pleasure of being her photographer since her newborn session, I can't believe it's her 1 year birthday!  Happy Birthday Miss Suzy! The location for the birthday photos were on her grandparents family farm in Shelbyville Indiana.  Of course Suzy was dressed in John Deere and farm colors with farm animals on her dress, so adorable! We also made sure dad brought out a tractor for the perfect background, she was so excited when she saw the tractor pull up....or maybe she was excited to see dad....either way she was happy!  To make this session even more special the rocking chair we used was from her grandpa's grandmother, I think these photos will be treasured forever. This type of session I start with the entire family, capturing all looking at camera (the photo grandma always wants) and then go into the fun photos of family enjoying family time.  This type of photos always brings out the craziness and silliness of the family, but most importantly the realness of the family.  From there I go into parents and siblings, each family separate and I always make sure to grab photos of each child alone.  This family was such a blast to photograph, I think I captured them in their element of enjoying a warm summer evening together.  What made this session even better, the location.  This location is part of their property and perfect for creating family memories!...

Family Photography, Children Photography, Portrait Photography, Central Indiana Photographer You guys!  Im so excited to share these sneak peeks of Brooke and Callen's Mommy and Me Portrait session!  Let's take a look at a few favorite things that made this session gorgeous!  Lighting The lighting for this session was AMAZING!  I always try and start my photo sessions at least 1.5 hours before sunset.  This time of day in the photography world is called The Golden Hour.  It gives off a reddish and softer glow and makes everything colorful, shadows are less dark on your clients  and highlights are less likely to be overexposed, giving you a awesome photo!
