Shelby County Fair 2017 | Tractor Pull | Battle of Blue Grass


Shelby County Fair in Shelbyville Indiana was the location for Battle of Blue Grass Tractor Pull.  My brotherinlaw  (Ron Mitchell) is a member of Battle of Blue Grass and I thought I would take few photos for him, but turns out it was so much fun I had to take photos of all the tractors.  This is Ron (brotherinlaw) and his Allis - Chalmers tractor.  Funny thing is he has no idea Im taking his photo, anyone that knows Ron knows he does not like his photo taken....well this photo has become very popular on my Social Media....

Then I was able to capture Ron and his son Kyle discussing who knows what....Im sure they were talking about how to win the night....seeing Ron had just rebuilt his tractor and finished it 1 hour before having to be at the tractor pull....talk about cutting it close!  Anyway, I love how this photo turned out....



After what seemed like forever for the other group to finish...it was finally time for Battle of Bluegrass....Unfortunately I was not able to capture all the tractors in the group....it was too dark and lighting was not good....Here are some of the photo's I took....I apologize to the tractor owners I could not take photos of. 














The winner of the night was Kenny Powell, unfortunately his tractor was one of the  photo's I couldn't take.  Until next tractor pull...I'm off to buy earplugs cause I couldn't hear anything after this event!!

Senior Pictures Photo Session in Franklin Indiana | Alyssa

 Class of 2023, Senior Photography, Shelbyville Indiana Photographer High School Senior Portraits Whew!  I'm getting so emotional as I write blogs for my Senior 2023 Reps.  This year has flown by, I can't imagine how the girls and parents are feeling!  This year I had the pleasure of having 6 seniors on my team, 5 from Shelbyville Indiana and 1 from Batesville Indiana.  All will be graduating in the next week or two.  I am honored to have photographed their Senior year in high school.   Today I want to share Alyssa's Senior Picture gallery, some of my favorites!  Alyssa will be a 2023 Graduate of Shelbyville Indiana High School.  For her main senior photos, she chose different locations in Franklin Indiana.  We started at Indiana Masonic Home/Compass Park area, what a gorgeous location!  Alyssa rocked all the photo spots, a true model for sure!  Our next location was a field that was perfect for sun in background photos.  I had so many favorites from this location.  Next, w

Home Birth Photography | Shelbyville Birth Photographer

Baby Photography, Birth Photography, Newborn Photography, Shelbyville Indiana Wow is all I can say! Photographing Miss Josienne's home birth was amazing, emotional and rewarding. My first time photographing a home birth, I wasn't sure what to expect but it was an experience I will never forget. Mom was simply amazing, her strength was more than I could handle, I may have cried for her. She handled this birth better than I ever could or would have...as I needed all the drugs for pain in my deliveries. Not only did she have amazing support from her  awesome husband and daughter, but her Midwife  http://www.divinebirthmidwifery.com/ and Doula http://www.indybirthservices.com/  was there providing all the support and care mom and baby needed.
