Ark Encounter|Williamstown Kentucky|Indiana Photographer|Wiseman Vacation

   
   Well, it's been few weeks since I've written a blog...one of the reasons, I've been on vacation!  Our first stop was Ark Encounter in Williamstown Kentucky.  All I can say is WOW! Imagine this...you are sitting on a bus taking you to the Ark, the bus turns a corner and the bus driver says "This is what you came for"....you cannot imagine how cool it is to see this Ark for the first time.....



   

     Of course as everyone gets off the bus pictures had to be taken.....it was busy that day, however with the Ark being so big there was plenty of room...walking thru the entrance door, smelling the fresh wood, you cant imagine what your about to see....there are 3 deck levels....as you walk thru the Ark there are plaques telling the story of each section....just a warning...everyone had their phones out taking pictures of the plaques, etc...so this will slow down your visit, especially on the 2nd deck...but it as you will see it is worth it....I did not take many pictures inside as I wanted to just experience the Ark as it is...here are just a few I took inside.....









        After the 6000 steps we took walking in the Ark, food was next on our list....there is a restaurant located across from the Ark....Food was good and had plenty of seating in the 2 story building....next on our list was visiting the petting zoo....not a lot of animals there yet...but you can tell they will be adding more...here is just a small example....






     The day was amazing...I can't imagine what it was like on the Ark way back in Noah's day...I'm excited to see what else they will add to the grounds.....very much recommend a visit if you can!   You will not be disappointed....to close this blog post Im adding few more photos I took outside....Enjoy!

Senior Pictures in Batesville Indiana | Location Ideas at Ertel Cellars Winery | Lindsey

Class of 2024, Senior Photography, Batesville Indiana    William Henry Harrison High School  | Harrison Ohio Senior Photographer  Today I want to share Lindsey's Senior Photo Session.  She will graduate this spring from William Henry Harrison High School.   Since I live about 1 hour from Harrison Ohio, we decided to meet up at Ertel Cellars Winery in Batesville Indiana.  Lindsey was looking for a  country setting that had a barn, farm feel and flowers.  The session took place in September, so we were lucky to find few fall colors as well as a small field of yellow flowers.   The first location on Ertel's Winery property was an old barn.  Wow! An old, rugged barn was the perfect backdrop for Lindsey and her first outfit selection.  So far, we have checked off 1 of Lindsey's dream locations.     On to the next location...beside the barn was another old, rugged building.  Could not have been more perfect as this building was beside the country road that had the most gorgeous v
