Meet Jaima, Shana and Alexus!



Hey everyone!

I enjoyed capturing some beautiful Motherhood family photos at Blue River Park in Shelbyville, Indiana. The family is from Rushville, Indiana, but with family connections in Shelbyville Indiana, they were thrilled to have their session at this stunning location. 

The weather couldn't have been more perfect on that spring afternoon in May. The tall grass and lush green trees provided a picturesque backdrop, and the lighting was simply gorgeous. It was one of those sessions where everything came together perfectly to create amazing memories for this wonderful family.

The bond between the mother and her daughters was truly heartwarming to witness and capture. The session was filled with sweet moments that will undoubtedly become lasting memories for years to come. 

Motherhood sessions or sometimes called Mommy and Me sessions are always incredibly special, allowing families to spend quality time together and create beautiful, lasting memories. It was a fun and relaxing experience, and I feel so fortunate to have been a part of it.  Take a look at their awesome gallery!

My first time photographing a home birth, I wasn't sure what to expect but it was an experience I will never forget. Mom was simply amazing, her strength was more than I could handle, I may have cried for her. She handled this birth better than I ever could or would have...as I needed all the drugs for pain in my deliveries. Senior Pictures in Batesville Indiana | Location Ideas at Ertel Cellars Winery | Lindsey

Class of 2024, Senior Photography, Batesville Indiana    William Henry Harrison High School  | Harrison Ohio Senior Photographer  Today I want to share Lindsey's Senior Photo Session.  She will graduate this spring from William Henry Harrison High School.   Since I live about 1 hour from Harrison Ohio, we decided to meet up at Ertel Cellars Winery in Batesville Indiana.  Lindsey was looking for a  country setting that had a barn, farm feel and flowers.  The session took place in September, so we were lucky to find few fall colors as well as a small field of yellow flowers.   The first location on Ertel's Winery property was an old barn.  Wow! An old, rugged barn was the perfect backdrop for Lindsey and her first outfit selection.  So far, we have checked off 1 of Lindsey's dream locations.     On to the next location...beside the barn was another old, rugged building.  Could not have been more perfect as this building was beside the country road that had the most gorgeous v

"Family is not an important thing. It's everything" - Michael J. Fox I couldn't agree more! The Meyer Family is a gorgeous family, they made my job of capturing their memories easy. Even tho it was a HOT afternoon, they kept going. You can tell they love to be together and have fun, we had many laughs and stories!  Let's talk about the location...WOW! They chose to start at the family cabin (which had air condition so we took advantage of that!) the afternoon sun, the gr een trees and the cabin itself made for beautiful backdrop, one of my favorites is the family walking away with the cabin behind them! Next we moved to the family farm...lets just say I may be a city girl...but this country farm kinda made me wish I lived there! The old farmhouse, the beautiful woods and trees, round hay bales made this location perfect! The Meyer family definitely seemed to be at home here.
