Introducing Alexis a 2025 Senior Rep Team Member




Welcome to today's blog post! Today, I want to introduce Alexi, a member of my 2025 Senior Rep Team. She is a senior from Triton Central High School in Fairland, Indiana, near Shelbyville. I first met Alexis a few years ago when I had the pleasure of photographing her family, and I cannot believe she is a senior this year! Alexis chose her home in the country as her session location, which has the most amazing views which made for perfect photo backdrops. When you're looking for a photo session location, sometimes your home is the best place! Alexis is a natural-born planner and organizer, and it comes as no surprise that she wants to pursue a career as an event planner or a travel agent. Her love for organizing is also evident in her hobbies, as she enjoys scrapbooking, sewing, and making cards with her grandmother. In addition to her creative pursuits, Alexis is also in ballet, and I can't wait to see her perform. She's also a pet lover, she has two adorable pups, and she adores them. Alexis finds joy in the vibrant colors of flowers and takes pride in caring for her chickens. Check out one of my fav pics with her chickens, the gallery is below. It's also worth mentioning that her favorite tree is the elegant weeping willow, which Im on the hunt for, I would love to photograph her with her fav tree! Alexis embodies a perfect blend of creativity, organization, and a love for nature and animals, making her truly special. Stay tuned for more updates about remarkable individuals like Alexis!

Class of 2024, Senior Photography, Batesville Indiana    William Henry Harrison High School  | Harrison Ohio Senior Photographer  Today I want to share Lindsey's Senior Photo Session.  She will graduate this spring from William Henry Harrison High School.   Since I live about 1 hour from Harrison Ohio, we decided to meet up at Ertel Cellars Winery in Batesville Indiana.  Lindsey was looking for a  country setting that had a barn, farm feel and flowers.  The session took place in September, so we were lucky to find few fall colors as well as a small field of yellow flowers.   The first location on Ertel's Winery property was an old barn.  Wow! An old, rugged barn was the perfect backdrop for Lindsey and her first outfit selection.  So far, we have checked off 1 of Lindsey's dream locations.     On to the next location...beside the barn was another old, rugged building.  Could not have been more perfect as this building was beside the country road that had the most gorgeous v

Baby Photography, Birth Photography, Newborn Photography, Shelbyville Indiana Wow is all I can say! Photographing Miss Josienne's home birth was amazing, emotional and rewarding. My first time photographing a home birth, I wasn't sure what to expect but it was an experience I will never forget. Mom was simply amazing, her strength was more than I could handle, I may have cried for her. She handled this birth better than I ever could or would have...as I needed all the drugs for pain in my deliveries. Not only did she have amazing support from her  awesome husband and daughter, but her Midwife  http://www.divinebirthmidwifery.com/ and Doula http://www.indybirthservices.com/  was there providing all the support and care mom and baby needed. Family Photography | Batesville Indiana | Gina Wiseman Photography | Meyer Family

"Family is not an important thing. It's everything" - Michael J. Fox I couldn't agree more! The Meyer Family is a gorgeous family, they made my job of capturing their memories easy. Even tho it was a HOT afternoon, they kept going. You can tell they love to be together and have fun, we had many laughs and stories!  Let's talk about the location...WOW! They chose to start at the family cabin (which had air condition so we took advantage of that!) the afternoon sun, the gr een trees and the cabin itself made for beautiful backdrop, one of my favorites is the family walking away with the cabin behind them! Next we moved to the family farm...lets just say I may be a city girl...but this country farm kinda made me wish I lived there! The old farmhouse, the beautiful woods and trees, round hay bales made this location perfect! The Meyer family definitely seemed to be at home here.
